Don't the security goons hassle you when you take such shots? Me, I've been hassled by the cops around here while doing night photography. It's all part of that post-9/11 paranoia.
Anyway, good shots. I like their composition. Also, I dig those crazy primary colors in the first image. What are you using for a camera? Something small that security guards don't readily notice?
Ray, It's so quaint that you think we have security on our subways. It is true that the sheriffs do occasionally patrol, and I am guessing there are cameras somewhere, but guards at each station to hassle me over photography? Not so much.
Still, I didn't linger too long with my little Canon D400 when taking these, just to not draw attention (lest someone else "drop a dime" on me).
Some time ago the cops in NYC were cracking down on photography in the subways. So a bunch of photographers got on a train, cameras in hand, and staged a protest, snapping shots of each other.
Let's face it: terrorists would be using spy cameras. They woulldn't be shooting in plain sight. But the way things are going, I might have to buy a spy camera just to enjoy my hobby.
